Artists for February 17, mARTi Gras Show, Art Gallery and Web Site

Three categories are available: wearable art, display art, wall art; any medium, no size restrictions, and each piece must be available for sale during a silent auction.<br><br>The proceeds for each art mask will go the to the submitting artist(s) less a 15% commission for operations at RRCA. Seeking Artists to Display Their Works
in RRCA's Art Gallery<br><br>
Ruidoso, NM - The Art Gallery - a cooperative of professional, independent artists from throughout the Ruidoso and Lincoln County region - is calling for artists to display their works in its gallery. All members of the Ruidoso Regional Council for the Arts are invited and encouraged to display their works in the RRCA gallery.<br><br>There is no charge to display works for registered RRCA members. The lion's share of the sales price for all works sold through the Art Gallery are returned directly to member artists with the RRCA retaining a small commission to help support its activities on behalf of our member artists.<br><br>Artists should note that space in RRCA's Art Gallery is definitely limited. Artists who are interested in displaying their works in the gallery should contact RRCA soon. Once the gallery reaches its capacity, RRCA's ability to display new member art in the gallery may be limited.<br><br>Artists who are interested in having their works represented through the RRCA gallery should call RRCA at 505-257-7272 to discuss membership and commission rates charged for sold items. The Art Gallery represents nearly 100 member artists and offers the widest variety of fine art to be found anywhere in Southern New Mexico.<br><br>

Ruidoso, NM - The Ruidoso Regional Council for the Arts has purchased a new website: www.ruidosoarts.org (http://www.ruidosoarts.org/) on which they plan to feature and promote the incredible talents and variety of works produced by artists throughout the Ruidoso and Lincoln County region. They are now looking for area artists whose works will be featured on the new web site. To get a better idea of the range of works and talents they plan to feature on the new site, visit www.ruidosoarts.org (http://www.ruidosoarts.org/)<br><br>A minimal member fee is required to join and participate in the RRCA, but many benefits and perks come with membership. Gaining access to their web site and RRCA's Art Gallery to display your works are just two of the benefits of membership... building an extended circle of artist friends throughout Lincoln County is another.
