In case you haven't noticed, the State Monuments staff are doing a great job of improving their facilities and planning and carrying out events at monument locations statewide. This schedule clearly shows the many events scheduled throughout this year at our State Monuments. These many planned events offer great opportunities for New Mexico families to travel short distances from home and enjoy our states colorful history for very little expense. ;)

State Monuments directory Jose Cisneros deserves a special round of public applause for all he has accomplished for our State Monuments system in the year of his retirement.
