A four week Cuban Son class will start this Wednesday at the Harwood Arts Center 7 to 8:30 pm. 1111 7th St NW at Mountain Rd. $10 per class. You can come to any or all of the classes thought the difficulty will increase over the 4 weeks. Class dates are Feb. 1, 8, 15, and 22.
Son is a beautiful, romantic dance from Cuba in the late 1800's . You can dance it to many contemporary salsa songs and many dance historians consider son to be the main "parent dance" of modern day salsa and casino.
