This exciting event will benefit Casa Esperanza, New Mexico’s house of hope for families facing cancer, and will feature hope chests decorated by New Mexico artists of local and national renown. The chests and other pieces of the artists’ works will be offered for auction at a festive affair in the elegant ballroom at the Duke City’s Embassy Suites Hotel.

A silent auction will feature the works of many of the Hope Chest artists and a wide variety of excellent wines. The live auction, hosted by Steve Stucker from Eyewitness News 4 and Bob Clark from 770 KKOB AM, will feature an array of artist embellished Hope Chests. The unfinished Hope Chests were generously donated by Unpainted Furniture and each artist has worked his/her particular artistic magic to transform the box into an original work of art.

The event will include Heavy Hors d Oeuvres, Desert, Gruet Wine and a No Host Bar.

Casa Esperanza, Inc. began with the vision of the UNM Cancer Center Board of Advisors and Realtor Association of New Mexico. The original sponsors were joined in 1990 by BUILD New Mexico and their combined efforts resulted in completion of their home February 1992.
