COME CELEBRATE AT THE TULAROSA BASIN - 3RD ANNUAL WINE FESTIVAL
The NM Vine & Wine - Tularosa Basin Chapter is sponsoring the 3rd Annual WINE FESTIVAL, September 15th & 16th, noon to 6pm daily. It will be held at the historic St. Francis de Paula Church School Yard, in the village of Tularosa, NM. The surroundings include huge old cottonwood trees and the historic acequia water system. This location is within the 49-Block Historic District of Tularosa that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in the USA.
The Festival will feature fine New Mexico wines from Wineries across NM and specifically the wines of the Tularosa Basin and Southern NM. Each winery will be giving free wine tastings of their own wines as well as glass and bottle sales. Additionally there will be continuous live musical entertainment, local art exhibits, craft booths, Festival T-shirt sales, and food vendors.
The Tularosa Village Historical Society will provide scheduled walking tours of the 49-Block Historic District.
Admission is: Adults - $10 in advance/$12 at the gate (this ticket price includes a beautifully etched wine glass); $5 for all others, 13 and under FREE. All underage persons must be accompanied by their legal guardian or parent. Parking available. No pets, please.
