Magdalena Steel Chicks to play Sunday, Aug. 19
Belen, NM - Belen Art League continues its summer music series with the Magdalena Steel Chicks playing at Anna Becker Park on Sunday, Aug. 19 at 6:30 pm. The evening is free so bring your chair and enjoy an evening of great steel drum playing by these great young artists.
Then, on Sunday, Aug. 26. enjoy the Rio Grande Valley Community Band beginning at 5:30 pm at Anna Becker Park.
Another evening of music courtesy the Belen Art League is planned for Friday, Aug. 24. This one includes desserts in a Garden Party at the Gallery. The nominal charge for the evening helps these folks in all they do to support and promote art in the community from children through adults. This is a great way to say "thanks," see some great art and enjoy an evening of desserts and music.
The fall Belen Art Show at the Harvey House begins Sept. 22 and runs through Oct. 20. This is always a great exhibit showcasing the talents of Valencia County.
