Santa Fe - Collector's Guide Magazine and website recently announced the addition of two new members to their fast growing publishing team.

Colleen Franco came to Wingspread after spending ten years in management for a major retailer. She is originally from Allentown, Pennsylvania, and moved to New Mexico with her husband, Joshua Franco, to lavish their lives with art. After living in Taos, Santa Fe and now Albuquerque, Colleen loves everything about New Mexico's art world. Having helped establish the Downtown Contemporary Art Center, she appreciates the arts, supports the arts and sometimes, even creates the arts.

"I am honored to be part of such a well-respected company like Wingspread", says Franco. "Don and Pamela have become excellent mentors in both a business sense and in the arts."

Melody Mock has been involved with various arts organizations around town over the past ten years, including the Albuquerque Arts Alliance, Explora, and the University of New Mexico's Arts Technology Center. She was at Magnifico Arts from 1999 until 2004, where she was director of exhibits and programs. Other past projects include curating the Inpost Artspace, directing Transitions, the 2005 regional juried contemporary art exhibition, jurying various art shows, and running ContemporaryAlbuquerque.com, an online arts gallery and discussion venue.

“I'm excited to be joining the Wingspread team,” says Mock. “I've always been impressed with the Michaelis's business and commitment to the arts.”
Franco and Mock will join staff member Kevin Paul and publishers Don and Pamela Michaelis. Paul, who joined the team in 2004, also came to Wingspread with a background in the arts. He was previously head of publicity for the University of New Mexico's Department of Theatre and Dance, as well as running outreach and youth programs for that Department. He continues to be involved in the performing and visual arts, including design, production management, and musical projects.

Don and Pamela Michaelis were named “Power Brokers in the Arts” by New
Mexico Business Weekly for 2006. Through a printed guidebook, the World Wide Web and weekly radio programs, Wingspread serves art collectors and others seeking information about the art and culture of New Mexico. Currently

celebrating its twentieth anniversary, Wingspread also runs the Artspace 116 gallery as a service to the community. Visit Artspace 116 in Wingspread's downtown office at 116 Central Avenue SW, Suite 201, or on the Web at
