Pritchard, U.S. Fish and Wildlife regional representative for the agency’s new program, Children and Nature, will talk about activities in New Mexico that are helping to bridge the gap between children and nature. Audubon is among the many organizations promoting an awareness of nature in children. The free program will be held at St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church, NW corner of Copper and Jefferson NE at 7:15 p.m.
Pritchard says “come ready to be inspired to the promise of a new generation of kids who love dirt, trees, mud, bugs, sand squiggly creatures and their own little place on Planet Earth.”
