Dear Friends - The time has come for my final musical celebration with la gente de Nuevo Mexico. As many of you know I'll be leaving the US to live and work in Barcelona, Spain. But before I go, I invite all of you to join Calle 66 as we take the stage at the Albuquerque Museum this Friday for a joyous musical performance.
The band features the talents of some of the most formidable Latin musicians in the state, and I guarantee that this will be a night to remember. There will also be special rueda de casino and salsa dance performances during the breaks by the Maple St. dancers under the direction of "Salsera Extrema" Sarita Streng. The band will provide joyous noise, we'll celebrate with music and dance together one last time, and I'll bid you all a very fond musical farewell. Many thanks for all your support and kindness to me over the past nine years, and please know that you all have a special place in my heart.
